My celebrant style matches my personality, I'm calm, outgoing, relatable, enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories and their views on life in general. For ceremonies it's important to have someone who gives you that calmness and assurance and this is who I am.
My service fees can be found on the Services tab from the main menu. I feel it's important to know what the price is for what you are after to assist with budgeting for your big day. There are many hours that go into perfecting a ceremony script, which is my absolute priority & is why my fees are set how they are.
Ceremonies can vary in length depending on a number of factors. A simple wedding ceremony can go from 25 minutes (including legals) to 40 minutes depending on the scripting.
When options such as traditions, cultural elements, or readings are added in, this can also extend the timeframe.
When working with clients I like to find out your expectations and/or timeframes and work to what suits your needs best.
There's a few legal documents that are needed before the big day which your celebrant will take care of for you. When you decide to go ahead with studio beWED, we'll lodge your Notice of Intent to Marry (or NOIM) which will need to be done at least one month before your wedding.
Then, prior to the wedding we will complete the "no legal impediment to marriage" documentation which declares that you are legally allowed to marry in Australia.
On the day of the wedding, your celebrant will have all of your official paperwork completed and ready for signing during the ceremony.
Once the ceremony is done, your celebrant will lodge your official marriage and order your marriage certificate through Births, Deaths & Marriages!
Of course! Your celebrant will work around your needs and what's best suited. If you want to create your own vows, that's completely fine. Otherwise your celebrant can curate them for you, or we can leave it to the bare minimum. Keep in mind that for a wedding to be legal, there is a minimum vow requirement that needs to be said, which we will include within the additional vows if you want them.
Absolutely. We will provide a PA system that is battery operated and comes with a microphone. We also have a signing table and chairs if required, please let me know if you would like me to bring these along.
Your celebrant will make sure they are professionally dressed for your ceremony but also dressed for the occasion. If there is a specific theme or colour scheme for your wedding please let your celebrant know so they can coordinate for the day.
Having a ceremony that makes you feel comfortable and acknowledges who you are and what you believe in is really important to us.
As your celebrant I will always include an Acknowledgement of Country to acknowledge our First Nations people, one of the oldest living cultures in the world.
If you would like to include any of your own traditions, or we can help you incorporate one into the ceremony please let your celebrant know. We can also have participants perform readings as well.
Of course! We consider ourselves an allies at Studio Be Wed, as is our celebrant Sinoma herself. We are inclusive and support same sex marriage for the LGBTI+ community. When the law changed in 2017, it was a momentous occasion that has allowed our same sex couples equals rights as everyone else. Love is love in all its forms.
Studio Be Wed ceremony fee's cover travel to Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter Valley & Port Stephens& Mudgee Region. If we are travelling outside of this we may charge a small travel contribution fee. Legals only ceremonies are generally within the Gosford area for no charge but if you have something else in mind please let us know!
Once you have chosen Studio Be Wed and your ceremony date is available, a deposit is payable to secure this date. If your wedding date needs to be changed then this is ok so long as we are available. If this date is already booked, the deposit will be forfeited.
The full balance of your ceremony fee is due no later than 30 days before your wedding ceremony. You can pay by PayPal, bank transfer, cash or card.
